What temperature should the attic fan be set at? |
Normally, in the summer, I have my thermostat set at 75 degrees when sleeping. Sometimes, it goes down to 74 when its humid. With this in mind, should the thermostat be set at 80 or equal to my thermostat setting in the house? I have read that they should be set quite high between 100 and 110. Due to the fact that those fans use quite a bit of electricity while on. And your attic can reach tempatures of 150 degrees or more.
