What is the flow rate difference between thermostatic and manual shower?

Hello,
I have a gravity fed (both cold and hot) thermostatic shower which is very slow. I do not want to install a pump. If I change the shower with manual shower (i.e. both hot and cold water depends on manual tap adjustments), Do I get a better flow?

Thanks.

thermostatic shower controls only control the temp nothing else you will need to install a pump to increase the pressuer all mixer showers need a pump unless you have a pumped water system in your house the only way around it with out installing a pump is to install a electric shower both are fairly easy to install if you are confident with electrics if not leave alone

The only way to improve the flow through either a manual or thermostatic shower is to fit a shower suitable for low pressure. That is the hot and cold feed pipes are in 22mm at least, not 15mm or smaller. I think Mira do a shower with larger pipework. You could also try a larger bore flexi hose from the mixer to the shower head. The cheaper hoses have quite a small bore. Check out the difference at your local plumbers or B and Q. The shower head could make a difference as well. Try a slightly larger head with variable flow patterns.

no ..thermostatic valves will not affect flow rate
