Where can I find online instructions to build a bedroom closet?

i am looking for directions step by step online and i cant find a website that has this.

If you are at all comfortable with carpentry, it's real simple thing to do. You can find a how-to book at nearly any big-box store.

There are codes relating to the type and size of light fixture permissible in a closet. I can't recall the exact requirement, but I can look it up if you need me to.

The whole thing consists of framing a partition wall and hanging a door!

I agree with Hank, really what you are doing is building a small room within a room. Basic construction with 2x4 lumber, drywall and doors. Depending on the size of the closet you may not even need a light.
