I am moving an above ground pool from one site to another how difficult will this be?

Also want to put it partially underground (2 feet) anyone with experience that can offer ideals would be appreciatted.

First it would be easy-er to drain all the water out. (just kidding) are you moving it to another spot on the same properly ? Get plenty of help like the other answer says.
I wouldn't recess it into the ground. It isn't made for that.

As number 1 says, get help. Even empty they can be bulky, but you omitted Size.

To dig one in, might mean reinforcing the walls of the hole, certainly depending on your soil content and stability. You might also assume to dig it larger than the pool and back fill, but that would mean Loose soil at the pool perimeter.

In any case the plot would have to be graded, have some depth of a sand layer.

I guess I'm curious as to why dig it in?

Just my 2 "sense"

Pretty damned difficult. I'd get as many helpers as you possibly can, because it's big and bulky.
