How do I figure out the placement of post for a curved deck? |
This deck is straight for the most part except for one corner which will have steps to the yard. The steps will be on the corner that i want to curve, it will be gradual. Try laying out the curve on the ground ahead of time, use some spray paint to make your curve. To make it a little easier make your lower support posts line up with upper rail posts. you need to be more specific w/your question. when you say post I'm assuming your talking about a post for support, correct? what i need to accurately answer your question are as follows; height, length & width. what it will be attached to, a rough schematic (drawing) would be wonderful. i would put the post every 4 foot apart, that would give you support, & that is very important on a deck |
