What side of the sink do you suppose to wash your dishes? |
What is the correct side, the disposal side or the other side. The side with the garbage disposal does it matter? I didn't know there was a correct side. I wash on my left though for the fact the splash over from the water gets my counters wet if I do it on the right side. Haha... I can't say I've seen this question before! wash in the disposal side since it's there. that way you don't have to move the washed food particles. athough it may not be conveniently positioned nearest the dishwasher for drying. The opposite of the disposal, I think. It would be the disposal side. I wish I had a sink disposal! That would be so much easier! I use the right side to wash my dishes! I would use the side with the disposal. That way, scraps can go down. The INside of the sink. People get mad for some reason when you use the OUTside of the sink for washing dishes. For sanitary reasons, I would use the side other than the disposal side and use the disposal side only for preliminary rinsing and scraping. Or you could always do like we do here in St Louis and just throw the dirty dished out the kitchen window and retrieve them after the dog has cleaned them off. the other side. the disposable side is where u rinse the dishes from all the food chunks that are on there. then they can get broken down and wont clog the drain. disposal is what I do Most ppl wash on left side. I do and I do have a disposal. I use the disposal before I do the dishes. I use my left side counter to put dirty dishes on and right side counter to strain/dry them on. You was dishes on the disposal side so any food scraps will go directly into the disposal. Its more important, which side of the dishes do you wash ! I say the disposal side, so that when you are done washing, any food that was in the water can be ground up. Otherwise, you need one of those plugs that will filter out the food. I always wash mine on the right side That's what a dishwasher is for! And in the country, we don't have disposal's. We compost! The side closest to the dishwasher. It makes it easier to put them in once you rinse them off. neither, let someone else do it for u The side with the garbage disposal or the side opposite the dish rack Dishes on the left, shampooing my hair on the right. Thank you very much. get a dishwasher... The side with the disposal ( the left side) i dont have two sides i just have a disposal sink and my disposals broken :*( The correct side to wash would be which ever side the dish strainer is opposite of. In other words, you wash, then rinse then put in the strainer. The rinse water should be right next to the strainer. I put the soapy water on the non-disposal side, so I can rinse the crumbs and stuff into the disposal. The other side (not the side with the disposal). Think of it this way...you rinse the dishes in the side with the disposal so the big food particles go down into the disposal. Then you set the dish in the other side of the sink which is filled with the soapy water to wash them. the other side. get the life ! who cares. Where ever you feel like! depends if you are left handed or right handed. It really doesn't matter. I guess if you're right-handed you use the right side of the sink so you can rinse off on the left side and vise versa but it's really up to you. Everybody got their own way of washing dishes. |
