Where in the uk can I buy a small water-air heat exchanger? |
I want a small efficient water radiator that can be connected to a household boiler, and sealed in a unit to connect to air ducts as part of a small Heat Recovery Ventilation system: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heat_recove... Try to get hold of a car heater core from a breakers yard. That's probably the cheapest and most available source. Otherwise they are going to be expensive. The best option for this would be a scrap car radiator. |

Electric ( no fan ) and oil filled are called radiant heat. That means it produces heat, but it just slowly radiates outward from the heat source. If you have the tools and the ability then I would go get a couple of 2x4s cut 2 of them to about 7' tall take a board about 4' long and attach that to the top of the ... NO NO NO NO NO!!!! What I did when I was in that situation was I had another garbage can for crushed cans which I had to store in the closet next to the vacuum but n... You need a step down transformer. Go into an eletrical hobby shop (Maplin/Tandy etc) and give them the input and output voltages you need (and any current restrictions) and they will hook you up... multiply square feet times 12 and divide by the width of the wood (in inches) to get lineal feet. so 100 square feet of two and a quarter flooring is 100 *12 /2.25 = 534 lineal feet - but you... just take the burner out and put the charcoal in. we have done this too. ... |
