Can I clamp a wooden privacy fence to an existing 6' high chain link fence?

Is there an easy way to just clamp on to my neighbor's existing tall chain link fence without installing posts? They recently installed the fence a couple years ago and have two large annoying dogs. Looking for a quick fix.

You would need their permission. Perhaps a bettr way would be to insert slats diagonally through the chain link. The neighbor might like that better.

depends on who side is the fence on. if it's on their side you would need permission to attach to chain link but to attach to the metal studs you would not. the fence is technically co owned by you and them if it's on the line or near it. they would have had to get permission from you to put it up along ur line. they do have many options if you want to use slats, bamboo, or like i said fence section to the metal post.

Top your neighbor. Buy a wood privacy fence. And he will say"crap, if i knew he was going to install a privacy fence, i would have not put up a chain link" or you can just cut a hole in the fence and let his dogs loose....presto, problem solved

NO!
The posts for the chain link are not suitable for privacy fencing. The first good wind and the posts will buckle over.
