How long does it take for spray paint to dry?

I just spray painted my bike (metal) and i was wondering how long it takes to dry its about 88 degrees out and theres a slight wind and its standing up right. How long should i wait to ride it and it will be dry? also, Should I leave it out in the sun or put it in the shade?

ote: anyone know how to get spray paint off your fingers?

If you watch the paint, it won't dry. Paint knows you are watching it, and it just wants to stay wet. lol.

Seriously, it shouldn't take more than an hour to completly dry. If its humid, it will take longer.

Lava soap should take the paint off your fingers. I even used goo gone to do it too. Other than that, soap and water, with a scrubbing side of a sponge.

I would give it at least 12 hours to be safe. I'm not sure if the sun would effect it but I would probably put it in the shade.

About a day in the shade. Check your can.
