How do you clog your bathtub to take a bath?

The drain hole is located away from the showerhead so there's no way to fill the tub like normal tubs. So I bought a drain plug which doesn't fit exactly and the water drains quickly and doesn't fill. Is there any way to plug the drain so I can soak in the tub?

My wife and I, when we were on our honeymoon, were in the same predicament with the hot tub where we were staying. We ended up using a water filled condom. It worked great until we could see the manager for a proper one.

A small plastic lid would work, try different sizes.

You can usually get a large round rubber mat that will cover a very large hole. You need to hold it briefly until some water weighs it down and then allow yourself to soak.

Plastic lid off a butter dish or whip cream. Cut the edge off with scissors to make it flat lay it over the drain.. fill.. light candles..add salts.. start music and enjoy then go buy the right drain plug.

Go buy a proper-fitting drain plug, silly! They do come in several sizes...
