What can I do with a space between my cabinets?

I have a space 6" wide and about 24" tall. It is a space between 2 large base cabinets (which were not measured correctly) and the contractor refuses to repair. It is wide open (deep) to the wall. Do you have any suggestions of what I can do with this space?

if you cant match the doors to create a "cookie sheet" cabinet. I have an area where I added shelves and found wicker baskets that fit in space and have them filled with cookie cutters, pot holders, the stuff that usually just isnt organized. I also have an area that I took of the doors and created a wine rack. with one shelf that has dowel rods to support serving platters that are difficult to store in regular shelves.

Assuming this is a kitchen, put in shelves and it's a great place for storing cookie sheets, cooling racks, pan lids, etc. I think I've also seen a special skinny slide-out spice-rack that could go in there (or make your own unit). Depending on what's above, you could also store a broom or mop.
Btw, check your contract with this guy again - this sounds like breach of contract and you may have grounds to sue. Good luck - this must be VERY frustrating!

This is a great chance to make lemonade out of your lemon!
Get a "real" contractor - or maybe just a good handyman to make a slide out shelf for a few of those flat cookie sheets, pizza pans, etc that we usually have to just stack somewhere.
Bet you'll be thanking the jerk contractor for his screw up!

your could put in decorative shelves, a pan rack, or even a wine glass holder.. just try to dress it up and make the best of this situation... i mean, it's not like the contractor installed your cabinets upside down =D

just put a fake door on it!!! or a real door and store your pizza pan there!!!
