What's the difference between cement and concrete? |
What's the difference between cement and concrete? Cement (notably Portland cement) is the material to make concrete. thank you for asking that question. It never fails while I am working some guy comes up and asks how much ceeeement are you pouring today.I usually just smile and say oh we've got 7 yards on the way.Inside i'm thinking cement is what you put in concrete. It just gets old.Another good one is can I write my name in it or can I walk on that. I could go on and on.Sorry just venting a little bit. Cement is cooked! And is a component of concrete. Give David the 10 points he is correct. Concrete is 1 part Portland cement, 2 parts sand, 3 parts rock. |
