How do I start reducing my garbage?

I need to start to waste less things and start to save paper but I don't know how to start. Do you have any ideas?

Do you mean only paper garbage or all garbage?

Paper garbage reuse the other side, for non business items even if reusing the other side is just for a grocery list.

All garbage
Buy less to begin with, and if it still has use when you are done donate it to a thrift store.

One way to reduce garbage is to purchase things that don't come in bulky packages. If you do buy things that are packaged make sure you can break the packaging down (cut boxes down to lay flat). If you can't break down the packages use them a small trash cans/bags to put other waste into. If you have excess food (breads, fruit) you can feed birds in the park. If the product you want to get rid of is still good and someone else could use it, donate it. Goodwill will take almost anything off of your hands, so long as you donate something that other people will actually want.

all your garbage comes from consumer products you bought.. so, a way to start reducing garbage is to start buying stuff that comes in recyclable containers, and if you do not recycle, then start doing that and you will feel better about yourself.

I think the biggest thing you can do is avoid "convenience foods" It's amazing how much packaging goes in to something like microwave cuisine. Buy fresh or bulk frozen.
