What is the black fabric piece you see between a wall and new concrete? |
I looked everywhere this is the stuff when you for example pour a new porch you put this black fabric between the house and the new porch so as the porch settles it doesn't mess up your wall. Its usually about an inch or so thick. Also when pouring a new porch what is the right depth for a rat wall. It is a tar inpregnated tentest fibre board get from a builders supply store (not home depot) sounds like your refering to an expansion joint..... this is used so concretee can expand and contract........as far as rat wall depth, dont know------ |

Bathroom sink traps are either 1 1/4" or 1 1/2". Tools needed would be channellock type pliers if you cannot unscrew the slip joints by hand.
