How do I remove birds from my shop? |
I found a birds nest in my workshop in a corner between the ceiling joists. I could hear the babies chirping. I don't want to cause them any harm or anger the momma, but I need them out of my workshop. Any ideas on a humane and easy way to get them relocated? well it seem you are stuck with them until the chicks fly away on their own. then just remove the nest and do not let momma build another one.to keep birds away fill a good squirt gun with a mixture of ammonia and water. about 50/50. most animals and birds don't like the smell. squirting near them and they will quickly get the message. I would find out if there is an ultrasound device - just like they have for the " electonic fence" for dogs, or "electronic repeller" for insects. There may be one for feathered friends also - that way they'll leave on their own. call a animal catcher, theyll do it for you...for a cost that is...look it up in phone book After the babies are gone, burn some incenes?? Birds hate smoke. |
