How do you make a slow burning candle? |
The ones I buy at walmart burn fast then one I got at a local store lasted forever. I want to make my own. Increase the diameter of the candle and use polyethanoid wax... s-l-o-w-l-y..... heres a little tip I saw on here and tested it out myself. keep the candles in the freezer when your not burning them. when u do burn them, they will burn slower. also, only burn the candle for 1 hour for each in in diameter. so if the candle is 2 inches across, burn it for 2 hours straight but then blow it out, let it cool and then restart it. lead in the wick, lead is dangerous so most big candle makers won't use lead wicks anymore, if you burn alot of candles you can actually die from lead poisoning . short wick change the wick |
