Where's the filter for my AC, how do I get to it and how do I clean it? |
I have a really old GE Deluxe 26 typical in the wall, sticking out the outside type air conditioner, should I clean it or replace the filter? How can I do this myself. Landlord is hopeless. The front panel of the AC should come off and there should be a filter in front of the aluminum fins on the AC. some of the older ones are washabel, in some the whol front panel comes off and in others the bottom of the panel comes off.
