How much will it cost to get some soundproof equipment for my walls at home?

Me and my band are trying to set up a stuido in my garage, we just need to know how much it will cost for some soundproof wall stuff...

And if you could possibly send me a link to a site...

Thanks alot.

If you know where to get them you can use the cardboard type of egg boxes, you just glue them to the wall (they work remarkably well and make a great talking point).

If you know anyone who has some old duvets, they would be the cheapest option, but it'll look naff. Just hang them along the walls.

Or, you can cover the wall in this rockwool insualtion: http://www.wickes.co.uk/invt/161197

It has very good sound deadening properties and should cost about 拢150 for a whole garage. Again, just glue the panels to the walls and ceiling (and garage doors if possible).
