Where can I find a battery operated micro pump? |
This would be a very small pump to be used in a table top fountain. I want to use it outside, so it must be completely battery operated. I've tried looking around online, but have only found wired pumps or already assembled fountains. any suggestions? HERES ONE home depot It will have to be a VERY small pump OR a VERY big battery. You won't get much run-time using batteries for your pump. There are some solar powered pumps sold but I think they are really toys - no real power, and in the YUK sun is lacking a lot of the time. As long as you use an RCD you can use mains outside with care- or buy a low voltage(transformer powered) pump and just plugthe transformer into your house socket and only have low voltage outdoors |
