I am replacing a bench cushion what density is recommended for the foam and is dacron wrap needed?

this bench will be used in a family room. Any suggestions where to buy cushion at a good price?

Most cities of any size, will have an Upholstery Supply business in the area. The medium density of the "pink" foam cores, will provide better sitting, than a "white or yellow" foam core. A dacron wrap, or batting, helps to fill the cushion cover, and to provide a "padding" that helps to fill corners of the cushion cover, and to bulk up the finished cushion. Like everything, even foam's price has increased. If you are able to shape the foam yourself (cut to pattern needed), than you might be able to purchase a foam piece cut slightly oversize, to enable you to cut it to pattern. An electric carving knife (used to carve roast turkeys), can be used to cut the foam to pattern.
