How often are you suppose to clean out your chimney? |
I need to know how often you're suppose to cleaen out your chimney if you've lived in a house for 3 years and never cleaned it once, but used the fire place multilple times. THANKS! Once a year, around autumn when you're starting to light fires again. Clears out the birds' nests and the like. contact a professional chimney sweep. |

I get this too, even though my trap is fine. I think it comes from buildup inside the overflow,. not from the drain. Try an enzymatic product or bleach in the overflow before you spend all that $$... a easy way to tell is remove thermostat and check to see if has two mercury tubes in it...if it does then it is multistage ....if it is digital then you need to take thermostat apart and see if it ...
