How do you use a poly toggle drywall anchor for hanging curtain rod? |
How do you use a nylon poly toggle? We are hanging heavey curtain rods and need to use them. Do we fold it so it opens inside of the wall? Or does it go on the outside of the wall and the plastic "wings" act to distribute weight so the screw doesn't pull out??? Or, something else? You fold it so it opens inside the wall Use a #2 Philips screw driver to make a hole in the sheetrock then drive the toggle in the wall, but be careful to not knock a hole in the sheetrock with the hammer. Then use the pink plunger and drive it in the toggle to open the toggle on the back side. Then put the screw in the toggle. |
