How do you make a custom candy mold?

Currently, I'm doing an art project for my art class, in which I would like to construct a molded chocolate hand to illustrate the clich茅 "to bite the hand that feeds." However, I am unable to find a chocolate or candy mold anywhere that is in the shape of a hand, much less a human-sized hand. Therefore, I need to construct my own. Any ideas, besides filling a plastic glove?

Know anyone with a sand box?

Put a few inches of sand in a shoe box or some other cardboard box. Moisten it slightly. Put your hand into the sand and push down on it until you have an indentation of your hand. Line it with saran wrap or other plastic film, fill with melted chocolate, cover the box with the lid or with aluminum foil, making sure not to touch the top of the chocolate and allow to harden.

Do not leave the box near anything really warm. In a refrigerator would be best. Within an hour, you should have a chocolate hand.
