How do I fix a rip in a nylon down coat? |
The tear is about 2" long and vertical near the hem of the coat. There are also two very small "nicks" near the tear. I believe the jacket got caught on something that ripped it. Thanks! I fixed a down vest with some iron-on fabric meant for patching synthetics and it has lasted years. You might have trouble matching the colour so take that into account. See if outdoor equipment stores sell them, I can't remember where I got mine. |
