How do you clean paint of a ceramic tile floor? |
The majority of my house is ceramic tile and apparently the old owner did not beleive in using masking tape or tarps when he painted. Because of this, there's a ton of little paint spots and splats all over the floor from repainting. Does anyone know a good way to get all of these spots up without damaging the tile? the problem is its little spots all over, not just here and there...so a razor wont work because I would have to razor my entire floor.... Use a liquid paint remover (two applications) and then any little that is left use a straight edged razor blade (provided the tiles are smooth) and that will take off any excess. Should work fine. A product called Goof Off will take it right up and won't hurt anything. If the tile is smooth use a razor if not a good paint remover should work well just wash the tile thoroughly when you finish. Hope you took that into account when you bought the house. I would use a razor on the spots. I know they're all over, but that's probably the best solution, so just pick an area to start and go to work.
