How do you clean paint of a ceramic tile floor?

The majority of my house is ceramic tile and apparently the old owner did not beleive in using masking tape or tarps when he painted. Because of this, there's a ton of little paint spots and splats all over the floor from repainting. Does anyone know a good way to get all of these spots up without damaging the tile?

Thank you!

the problem is its little spots all over, not just here and there...so a razor wont work because I would have to razor my entire floor....

Use a liquid paint remover (two applications) and then any little that is left use a straight edged razor blade (provided the tiles are smooth) and that will take off any excess. Should work fine.

A product called Goof Off will take it right up and won't hurt anything.

If the tile is smooth use a razor if not a good paint remover should work well just wash the tile thoroughly when you finish.

Hope you took that into account when you bought the house. I would use a razor on the spots. I know they're all over, but that's probably the best solution, so just pick an area to start and go to work. Good project to do during the football games on Saturday and Sunday.

paint thinner

razor blade works good
