What is the easiest, fastest and cheapest way to drain my waterbed?

i do not want to buy the $90 pump i see on ebay.

cut a water hose flip it out the window and walla....

first you get a hose hook it up to your bed and to a water faucet tightly, turn on the water all the way, have someone sit on the mattress while you quickly turn it off and unscrew from the faucet, have them stand up removing their weight from the mattress totally as you lay the the unscrewed end of hose into the shower or out the window if it doesn't work the first time repeat it will I used this method for 20 yrs.

cut a hole in it then squeeze it out

get a water hose connect it to your bed and hang the other end out a window of your house and put it lower than the bedonce the water starts it will suck the bed empty.

cut the ends off a cheap garden hose, stick it in the waterbed and drain it out a window. Pretty cheap

garden hose

I agree with the first answer.. but make sure you siphen the hose to start the water to flow..

they have connectors that screw on to the water bed and hook to a hose ,hook it on and check for leaks then put in to drain in the tub and lay down on it to make the water drain faster..

You can by a water bed fill and drain kit at Wal-Mart or any water bed retailer for less than $20.00. It has a jet pump that siphons the water out. Just follow the directions. I can drain my king in about 15 minutes.

get people to help you, or use a small hose and insert it in the bed and suck on it untill the water begins to drain.

The best thing I have found, is to take a hose, and attach it to the water bed, then, drop it out of the two story window!

This will suck you water bed DRY!! In fact, it will practically "vacumn pack" the thing!!

(Yes, I did it this way every time and it worked great, but, I really missed it, when I moved to a one storied house, cause the drop wasnt so great and it didnt do it as quick..)

I wish you well..

Bring it to my street this summer, we make a small hole, I will bring music and my neighbor can bring the BBQ.

Voila, a Block party. Cheap for you, fun for all !

It will drain by Gravity- put a hose in the opening where you filled it, then place the end lower than that hole, out side where the water can drain, use 2 or more hoses if need be to make the run. They also make a gadget that you can do this with, using a water hose and the water flow to make the water drain as well. Check hardware stoeres.

I've rented an electric pump from Uhaul. The price was probably under $20.
