Is it possible to rent equipment to pave your own driveway?

How difficult a job is it for an inexperienced person to pave a driveway (concrete) and the inside of a garage?

Plaease I need advice!

The cost of concrete, then breaking up concrete, then paying someone to do it right, will cost about 5 times the amount of hiring an experienced crew to do it right the first time.

Pouring and finishing concrete is a multi person job, and only goes well if they know what they are doing. If you are too slow, the concrete truck will have to dump it on the ground, so it doesn't set up inside the truck. Try finishing it to early, and it will splake on you. Wait to long, and it will be rough, uneven, and ugly.

You can do most of the prep work yourself to save some $, but hire a seasoned crew to pour it and finish it. Excavate it, form it properly for rain run-off, tamp it to the correct compaction code requirement in your area, and let the pros do the rest.

to do it your self it is difficult .you can rent equipment to do it but to pave a driveway and a garage and you don't have experienced is danger-est if you know how to operate the equipment like a jackhammer or a cement mixer

Yes you can, look in your yellow pages for rental equipment.

if you want advice...dont even try it...there are even people in the business that shouldnt be doing it...

you can call any home depot and ask for the store pro. he should be able give you all the info you need
