Can I create a makeshift shade for a small desk lamp without burning down my house? |
If so, what are some materials one could use to completely cover the exposed bulb? Sure you can just use a wire coat hanger and make the shape you want and cover the outside with a material or something but be sure nothing is touching the light bulb or you will have a fire. Easier why not go to a dollar store and purchase a shade for a $1. |
