How can I reduce water pressure in a shower, without reducing water pressure in the whole house?

I have a one shower in which the water pressure is so high it makes it unusable, but everywhere else in the house the water pressure is fine.
It's a closed vented system that requires 1 bar pressure which cannot be reduced, so I'm stumped as to how to reduce the pressure for this one shower.
Anyone out there have any idea's?

Three choices, try putting in a washer with smaller opening than you have now, get a pressure reducing shower head, or go to a hardware store they may have a shower shut off which you install just before the shower head, this will allow you to regulate the pressure or shut the waterflow completely.
EDIT: with no offense to DIY doc the shower clearly does not have the taps where you can regulate the water flow, the only thing you control is the temperature.

With no offense meant at all; and certainly the suggestions about adding the water saver inside the shower head are valid; I'M really curious as to what might happen if you just didn't turn the shower knob to FULL ON???

I'm not familiar with many new improved methods of delivering shower water, but I seem to notice when I shower; that the water pressure and volume increase and/or decrease with simple turns of the faucet knob/knobs.

Certainly in that process one might do that everytime they want to shower; JUST to adjust the hot and cold to tolerable levels.

You can buy a water saving shower head from the hardware store.

Get some material , Gasket material. It comes in sheets. Cut a piece just large enough to fit inside the end of the shower head. Poke a tiny hole in the middle of it, and put it in. That will reduce the amount of water coming into the shower head. Byee

Go to Lowes, Home Depot, Ace Hardware, or most any good Hardware Store, and get a Low Flow Shower Head. Some are available with a Flow Pressure Adjustment Control.

Look at the showerheads by Waterpic. They have adjustable spray patterns which also change the rate of flow and the "hardness" of the spray. Mine has one setting that is not much more than a fine mist while other settings will massage and some just plain hurt.

Add a pressure reducing valve to the pipe that goes to the shower.

go to your hardware they have these little things you can put in they save water but the pressure is not too weak either.

this is not a problem..just buy and fit a ballaflex valve this is normally used to isolate a supply ..but it is often used to lower pressure ..all you need to do is not turn on this valve completely ...this in turn reduces the pressure

Buy a new shower ?
or
Get a plumber to add an adjustable stop valve in the pipe leading to the shower.
Either way it's gonna cost ya.
