How to keep stickers on a table? |
I have these fantastic stickers I brought back from Paris, and want to put them on a small table in the basement. Is there something I can put over top of them (paste or something) to protect them from spills or coming off? You might try testing whatever coating you plan to use on a very small spot on each sticker - some coatings have solvent in them that could attack the printing or even the base of the sticker. Glue them on with Decoupage, which is a paste to adhere it on the table, once this is done use two or three coats of polyurethane and it will create a nice bond and protection layer on the table. It will have a nice shiny finish. paint a couple of layers of varnish over them once youve stuck them, you can choose between shiny or matt Try a coat or two of clear polyurethane. |
