How many tablespoons of spice do I need to measure to make 22 grams?

The recipe calls for 22 grams of a spice. How many tablespoons is that?

Grams is for weight, and tablespoons is for volume.
These are two completely different measures, unfortunately. Thus, there is no clear cut rule. Some spices are denser than others, some are harder packed, and some are very light and fluffy. While a gram of cinnamon would take up less than a teaspoon, a gram of lavender would take up about a tablespoon.

So... it really depends on the spice. Sorry hun. :(

this is going to be difficult, because it depends on the spice you are using... grams is a measurement of weight, whereas tablespoons is a measure of volume... they aren't necessarily easily convertable... you could try looking up that particular spice online and getting a weight by volume... but thats a lot of work for you!!!

Good luck!
