How do i remove the sticker on the bottom of the saucepan? |
I just got a sauce pan and it has a sticker that's not coming off easily. It's on the bottom inside the pan. How can I get it out? Hi....I would try one of those alcohol soaked pads they use in the doctors office. Rub it on the glue (you may have to use more than one). It will come off!! if all else fails, try gently boiling water in it. It should peel right off. If it doesn't, try putting hot water and a little dish soap in the bottom of the pan. Let it soak for half hour or so, then scrub gently with a non-abrasive sponge or soft kitchen brush. You don't want to scratch your pot up before you ever cook in it, so be careful! If this doesn't work, I have no clue. Maybe a bit of olive oil or vegetable oil would loosen the paper that adhered to the pot. Be sure to wash and rinse well after you've removed the sticker. I just cook with the residue still on...I think the heat makes it come off...haha Soak in hot water lighter fluid works wonders....just squirt on and rub off...been doing it for years,it works on ANYTHING thats sticky.... soak it in soap n water,if that don't work then put it in the dishwasher and wash it that way. It should come of you may have to rub it off the rest of the way. Other wise use goo b gone and wash as usual. Dab alcohol on it with a cottonball and let it set a few minutes then it should scrape right off. If not, let it set an hour or so. Mineral Oil or Vasaline. There is a product they sell at walmart called "goo gone". It is in a spray bottle and it removes any kind of stickers, gum, lipstick, all kinds of stuff. We have adhesive labels at work and we use goo gone to remove them. You just spray it on and let it soak in for a few minutes and the sticker comes right off. |
