What are some unknown ways to kill roaches?

1. Baits - done
2. Caulking cracks - done
3. Cleaning - done - I don't even cook or own dishes
4. Tons of insecticide - done
5. Roaches - not done, although the population has been greatly eliminated, they're still around - gone fora few days, then come back

Any recommendations - please no contrived answers like those above LOL - I habitually spray my trash can and never really eat or bring food in my apartment - would call landlord, but takes him 2 years to fix a leak in my roof let alone roaches LOL.

Bad thing is I live in the city which is corroded with them esp. living near an outdoor food market. Is the whole neighborhood just doomed LOL?

1st question is do you live in a apt. building if so you can been killing yours just to invite a whole new family to move in with you so to speak... I had that happen to me once and I finally gave up and moved b/c the landlord wouldn't inforce anything. also it could be the insecticide that you are using some aren't the best, baits and some foggers wont' work b/c in order to kill it the insecticide has to come in contact with the bug it self ... I have tried one thing that seemed to work great and its the bengal brand I have had a hard time finding it in my town but at las I found they have a website www.bengal.com and you don't have to pay shipping! and they have a garrentee! also get some seven dust and spray your yard and out side your house it might take some work but make it so that they dont want to cross your yard and maybe they won't come to your house.. hope this helps ..

Well, you don't know the conditions in your neighbor's home. If you share a wall with "Pigs on Parade", you are doomed. ;D

Call your landlord, they need to be made aware and give them notice in writing. If you should ever need to prove you tried to remedy this problem, you need hard copies.

Every once in a while I will see one in our home. Here in Texas we have "pine tree roaches". That's what the natives call them. I call them small birds. I cried the first time I saw one. I don't do bugs, and I'm trying to coexist, I really am. I saw a small one in our bathroom (we're in apt. life too for the next 2 years while we build, it's very humbling, for sure), and I just prayed God would strike it dead, that's all I could do. But you just have to kill those S.O.B.'s, that's all there is to it. ;P

Try Borax or one of those electronic pest repellers. You said that you caulked cracks. Try also putting tape (clear shipping tape so it doesn't look so bad) around the door to your apartment, basically sealing it. It'll sound kind of loud when you open the door, but it might keep the roaches out. Another thing to try is checking for holes or spaces around the baseboard. If you have carpet, the carpet might be hiding space between the floor and the wall. Good luck.

i feel really bad for you and one thing that would work is a product called diatomaechous earth, may not be spelled right, find it at lowes or home depot. its organic, looks like plain dirt but microscopically its like amillion razorblades to insects and it works. another thing is they're looking for water more than food, so empty your sink ! good luck !

Burn sulphur powder.

I have small children so the only thing I've been able to do is put boric acid tablets inside the walls. Unscrew your outlet covers and light switch covers and just throw a few tablets inside the wall at each spot. Roaches can travel through your house using your electrical wires like road systems. This has really helped at my house! Good luck!

DIATOMATIOUS EARTH IS THE OLD TIME ANSWER.
RIGHT OUT OF NATIONAL GEO MAG.

IT REALLY WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
