What's the best brand of floor wax to use on laminate floors? |
My Grandmother has laminate floors that are in need of a wax. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on a brand of wax or a technique that works best. Thanks! Look, whatever you do don't use earwax. This might seem obvious but I know someone who onced saved up his for AGES then used it on his table. I haven't been able to go round to his for dinner since. The best way to clean laminate floors is to mix 1/3 white vinegar, 1/3 rubbing alcohol, 1/3 water, and 3 drops dishwashing liquid for a quart total. For best results, wipe off quickly. You don't want to put floor wax on a laminate floor. Depends on the flooring. If its a Pergo or a "Pergo like" product. Don't ever use wax, there are special cleaners for those types of floors. |
