How do you wash one of those spray-paint/graffiti hoodies?

My boyfriend bought me a hoodie with the graffiti spray paint design on the front, and he said that there was a special way to wash it and it said on the tag, but I threw it out. If you have one of these shirts or hoodies, can you tell me how to wash it?

I would put it inside out and wash it in cold water on gentle cycle do not put it in the dyer hang it up until it dries.
