What is the best stain remover or detergent for getting rid of blood stains? |
On a related note: What do you think of Biz vs. Oxyclean? Which of these 2 do you recommend & why? Oxydizing agents like Chlorine or Peroxide don't remove blood stains. They just hide them by bleaching the stains until they are invisible. Try RoVer, Whink at the Home Depot. Report Abuse Biz is an enzyme cleaner and will soak out blood (even set in). Really set in spots may take a second try. Always use cold water! I've been using Biz for 15 + years. It has saved a lot of clothes and fabric items. Report Abuse Rinse the garment in cold water and pour peroxide on the stain... I've found that Spray & Wash "Dual Power" works beautifully. We don't have Biz in Canada but I have good results with Oxyclean - if item(s) are soaked in it overnight. hydrogen peroxide Just spray on blood and watch it bubble and eat the blood away. If it's a small stain let the spot soak in a bowl of hydrogen peroxide till stain is gone. Soak in regular peroxide you use on small cuts works for me .If blood is not dry usually there is no problem . You may have to repeat rinse & do again BAM.....and the dirt is gone. |

Hairspray! Spray it on thick and rinse as you go. It will take it off any surface too, you may want to spray a paper towel and wipe down your washer so you dont get it on the next load. An air moisturizer can help, the best humidity level in a house is around 70%, but the houses in warm climate have always less, maybe 25%, so the... clean it with a solution made of 1 part bleech and 10 parts water. scrub it down, then rinse well, then dry it. ...Hi First wash the walls down in a mixture of bleach and water, Do not over saturate the walls, place a fan to blow in the closet for a few days, you want to make sure the walls are completely dry.... try a brass cleaner like Brasso ... |
