How do I get ink stains out of my clothes? |
We washed a large load and somehow missed a pen in one of the pockets. We didn't catch it until after the clothes had gone through the dryer Hairspray! Spray it on thick and rinse as you go. It will take it off any surface too, you may want to spray a paper towel and wipe down your washer so you dont get it on the next load. Also the cheaper the better; tresseme or aqua net is great for this. if its ball point, spray n wash or shout should work - just make sure you leave it on 5-10 minutes before laundering but don't let it dry out. If its a sharpie or a permanent ink, you could try blotting it with an acetone soaked cotton ball - You can't. Ink is just like dye, and permanent. Especially after it has been set by a rinse in cold water followed by a hot dryer. You could try some hairspray, if that doesn't work use alcohol. Dab don't rub. |

I can't help you with the stain, but I can help to prevent the next one. I always spray Pam spray into my plastic bowls before I put in tomato based sauces, soups, etc. I have never had any ... ~I do a little everyday~ Like the refridgerator clean out at least twice monthly, Oven clean, things like that. An air moisturizer can help, the best humidity level in a house is around 70%, but the houses in warm climate have always less, maybe 25%, so the... clean it with a solution made of 1 part bleech and 10 parts water. scrub it down, then rinse well, then dry it. ...Hi First wash the walls down in a mixture of bleach and water, Do not over saturate the walls, place a fan to blow in the closet for a few days, you want to make sure the walls are completely dry.... try a brass cleaner like Brasso ...I would try an upholstery cleaner.
