How can i keep my house from getting dusty so fast? |
i clean house every weeknd , we live out in the central vally of califonia and trust me i can clean lol. but it gets dusty fast, dose those con air, air cleaners work? are they for dust? The old mattresses could be a problem. Change them. An air moisturizer can help, the best humidity level in a house is around 70%, but the houses in warm climate have always less, maybe 25%, so the dust is flowing everywhere. If you put tiles everywhere in the house and the furniture have high feet you can clean easily with a mop. The air cleaners filters must be cleaned at every two weeks at least, it will save you money on the electricity bill also because if they are clogged, the fans consume more energy and give you less air. The best way is to have a spare set of filters, change them every week, and blow the clogged ones with compressed air. The next week you can repeat the operation. I live in Va and I have the same problem. I've started dusting everyday cause family has allergies. It keeps coming back! I think dust must be some form of alien life sent here to observe Earth people in their daily lives. I read on another site that air purifiers may help, although they can be expensive. water the surrounding garden area to lay the dust. i live on a cattle station in Queensland Australia and the ringers only has to drive a mob of cattle past the house in the dry weather and everything is coated in dust. by watering the area and airing bedding on a regular basis you will reduce the dust and air born dirt. be choosy about which windows you open. only open the ones facing away from the direction the wind is blowing. Stop your body from shedding dead skin cells. |
