Why does my face flush whenever I drink even a glass of beer? How can I avoid it when I'm drinking? |
Though my face turns red I know I'm not drunk that fast. But it is an embarrassment when my face looks that way. Alcohol is a vasodilator, which means it causes blood vessels to expand. This sometimes causes the flush look in some people, and unfortunately, there's not much you can do about it. It's just how your body works. This might be a perfectly normal response to alcohol's ability to expand blood vessels, or it can also be a symptom of rosacea. Or drink wine; it'll give you more of an excuse =P. nothing you can do about it. some people just turn red but there is nothing wrong with it! one of my friends is korean and it happens to him after about 3 sips of beer. nobody cares because that is just how he reacts.
