Why does eating greasy food help you recover from a hangover? |
I'm looking for a semi-scientific answer. It doesn't, there are many things which can contribute to assuaging a hangover, but the main ones are water and time. Other than that it is a lot of pseudo-science and folklore. I would think that the grease coats your stomach lining thus reducing the amount of alcohol absorbed into your body. Because the grease coats your stomach. It doesn't. I don't know about anyone else, but if I have a hangover (and my stomach is feeling crappy) it doesn't help at all. agree with the 2nd guy.
